Sociology 210 – Introduction to Sociology
Students should have the opportunity to be around people interacting with one another. That way, they can observe a multitude of different things-- for example interaction between people different genders, race & ethnic groups, social classes, sexual orientation, ages, positions etc.
There are many other things they can observe and relate to the concepts we are studying in class. About the only thing that would NOT work would be to have them tucked away filing, doing paper work or running errands or doing jobs in isolation.
