Atlantic Boats

The department owns two of these 22-foot Atlantic Skiffs which are powered with 150hp Evinrude outboards. They are used for Boat Handling & Seamanship classes in the fall and in the Fishing Gear Technology II classes in the summer semester.

Jon Boats

Our fleet (4 boats) of 18 foot Jon boats is powered by 30hp outboards. They are used for Boat Handling & Seamanship classes in the fall. In the summer they are used to survey the Cape Fear River for Hydrographic Surveying classes
