Zeke's is a Cape Fear Community College 2nd semester project. Zeke's was created by our department, written by Patrick Bates, Shot and DP'd by the Olson Brothers on their Red cam from DV-3 Productions. This is half of episode 1, the work flow for R3D files has been exhausting (not a complaint just part of the learning curve). In fact the 1st half has eaten our department out of storage space on our main HD editor. Which is why we had to break the episode in half. Now that we have cleared some space we can begin working on the second half. This project involved all Film and Video Production students. The Art Operations Students created an awesome Bar on our Stage, and the actors are all from Wilmington's film community. Special thanks to Wilmington Camera Services for the Chapman Dolly, DV-3 Productions, and Cine Partners for their continued support in G&E. Zeke's has been a complete learning experience for our students, staff, and even some local Pro's. The Red technology is opening doors for storytellers and artists alike (please check red.com).
