NCADE Western Regional Conference

Friday,  April 4,  2008

Central Piedmont Community College –Cato Campus

Charlotte,  NC

Gardens today have moved beyond vegetable patches and flowerbeds to roof tops, atriums, and patios displaying the beauty of Nature’s best – the flowers.  These gardens are filled with a variety of radiant and colorful flowers flourishing from the unconditional love and care of loyal gardeners.

In Developmental Education, our learning gardens are filled with a beautiful array of students cared for by devoted and nurturing caregivers.  As instructors of the learning gardens, we prepare our students to blossom in class and in the changing world around them. We pay close attention to the growing conditions of each student creating learning environments designed to help them develop skills and strategies that will sustain their educational growth for now and for their lifetimes.

Please come to the 2008 Western Regional Conference and receive valuable “gardening tips” that will enable us to maintain the Beautiful Gardens of Developmental Education.
