Grading Info to Keep and Remember
  1. "Dangling" decimals are not only unsightly, they are just WRONG!
  2. If you place a zero behind a decimal (.0) not only is it wrong, but is illegal in 15 states.
  3. Correct and proper rounding procedure: If less than one (1) cc then round to the nearest hundredth place (0.6666cc is rounded to .67cc). This only goes to further show that if a number is greater than 1cc, one would round to the nearest TENTH (1.68cc is rounded to 1.7cc).
  4. If the student does not show their work, the answer is wrong, and the student must clean the lab after the elimination returns.
  5. In IV calculations, the gtts/minute must be rounded. (ex: 20.83gtts/hr must be rounded to 21gtts/hour. This makes real sense to those of us who would not dare to measure 0.83 of a drop.)
